Advantages

  • Treats food waste on the production site
  • Reduces its volume by 80 to 90% depending on moisture content
  • Simple to use
  • Sealed tank
  • Odor control
  • Minimal resources and hookups needed (power and water drain)
  • Quiet operation
  • Treatment with no micro-organisms, enzymes, or additives
  • The finished product is dry and stabilized. It can be stored freely in a dry place.

Process

The GEB dehydrator uses a condensation system. The product is heated and stirred in a sealed tank. The closed hot-air circuit coupled with the condenser drains water by gravity. The cycle time is about 9 to 12 hours.

Technical description

The machine has a processing tank fitted with two sealed doors (loading and unloading). A shaft/paddle assembly driven by a gear motor stirs the product. The tank is heated independently of the air circuit. Heating is provided by electric resistors. The condenser, placed at the rear, drains the water. Moves on new caster feet. Tank fitted with a drain valve to ease cleaning. Condensers fitted with water inlet/outlet for cleaning. Numerous sensors linked to color LEDs let you pinpoint any anomalies, leaks, or other issues precisely. Easy pump replacement.

Finish

All external surfaces are polished stainless steel 316L.
